1. Embargo is the term which means prohibition. It is used when cargo are prohibited from being shipped.
2. Retarder is an external brake used in vehicle to assist in stopping the vehicle, controlling the vehicle both on hill and land.
3. Shut out means a cargo that is not shipped due to the fact that it arrived after the specified time for receiving it.

We discussed recently about port. Today we shall discuss the major port sub system These subsystem are what works together to make a port carry our its activities effectively and efficiently. MAJOR NAVIGATIONAL PORT SUBSYSTEM We have, Navigational Aid Subsystem:  These are equipments that enables safe arrival and exit of vessels from the port. They are placed along coasts to mark safe and danger zone and enables Mariners in determining their position. It makes Mariners to be aware of dangers both on land and on sea. They include lighthouse,buoys,tug boat etc.                      Quay Handling and Transfer subsystem:  These is one of the major subsystem.
